After reading this, all you techies are gonna leave what you are doing and run to Souk Sharq to check this out. I just got back from lunch and playing with a “Surface”. This gadget is barely noticeable but its in opposite the complicate clock thingy in the center of Souk Sharq, a little black table.
First impression …its like a big iphone. No silly, you can’t lift it to your ear and make calls. I mean the touch capability is similar to the iphone. The only options on this are Events, About and Map.
Events: Nothing fancy, just a bunch of photos which you can play with. Try to enlarge the photo using a “pinch” and it increases like 500 fold and all you get are huge pixels.
About: Really poor content. “Lorem ipsum” is below every photo.
Map: Nice, but I expected more. You can move the map around and zoom in-out but if you click on anything all it does is show you the shop name in a little balloon pop out.
One major problem I faced seemed to be with the calibration. Well, its not well calibrated! So play around and enjoy.
Anyone knows who selling, renting, distributing these in Kuwait?
And yes, that is my Chocolate Sundae melting away while I fiddle with my camera to get a nice pic in the dimly lit spot the damn table was placed at.

Man, some people would’ve paid money for that piece of info. I expected something like this you know when it comes to Kuwait. Someone get it, but doesn’t know what exactly to do with it.
Lorem Ipsum ha!… LOL
I’ll go check it out. Thanks a million
