on travel technology, hacking and everything else
There is a relatively new website out there called Q8NRI.com [link]. Sonal the webmaster sent me a mail today introducing his site. Nice domain name and neat idea to have a dedicated forum for NRI’s in Kuwait. For those who don’t know, NRI stands for Non-Resident Indian. There are a couple of sites targetting Indians living in Kuwait but most of them seem very crowded with useless content.
I like the fact that this has just one format. I also like the “Best of the Blogosphere” category. Haven’t seen that anywhere else.
On the downside, the sign-up was a bit tedious since I had to make 5 attempts to get the security code right! (or maybe I was half-asleep) Also, a logo or banner resembling a mix of India and Kuwait might brighten up the site.
Overall a great job! There is quite a bit of content already. For instance I didn’t even know India started taxing NRI’s. Not the best news to hear, but at least now I know. Keep it up Sonal.

Hi Mario,
Thank you very much for the review and for the good wishes. The sign up and the codes were made slightly difficult as we were getting lot of spam registrations.
Actually, we are making a main page which will have a similar banner and lot more, but will take some time. Will email you in detail. Do visit and post often at Q8NRI.com. Thanks again.
