So Zain has a new website design. It looks way better than the previous one. Only looks better. Functionally, its not as good. All I needed to do was recharge my wife’s Zain line. Two problems:
1) It takes a while before you can figure out where the eeZee Cars links disappeared to!
2) Once your done paying with your KNET or NBK Card, it doesn’t give you the instructions on how you can use that PIN they SMS’d to re-charge your phone.
Since I couldn’t get thru their 4444 number, I decided to “google” for zain recharge and came up with the answer. You need to key in *141*<your code># for the recharge. Kinda stupid for a company to not put links on their home page to the money making parts of their site!

well, kinda really stupid. since i remember previously you could do balance inquiry from the phone but I cant remember the number now and the site doesnt have any info… ;[

Bad service Zain…… Web site look like a piece of crap.
Information missing.
Customer support online is not great at all.

I use to be able to recharge my phone before without any problem. Why are you making it so difficult now. If you think you are improving the system, YOU ARE WRONG. Please help as I need to recharge this number.

Seriously the Zain Website is not at all informative. It’s tooooo BAD cos not bale to fetch the required information at all. Need to improve a lot.

I thought I finally managed to recharge my wife’s Zain number and it was shown on my bank statement that the amount was deducted from my balance as if it were paid. But I never got an acknowledgment from Zain. So I personally went to Zain office to inquire. They gave me a case number and the next day someone called and said that the problem was resolved. But I never actually received this credit on my cell phone.
