on travel technology, hacking and everything else

The basement and mezzanine floors of the Al-Rihab Complex in Hawally are host to dozens of shops selling all kinds of Wii & Playstation games and accessories. The shop in the pic above (Al-Jazoor) had the best price on a remote charging station and a Wii Balance Board. The hacked console too was going for just KWD 70/- with some 15 free games. Was tempted to buy the Rock Band set too for Ro but none of those guitars have strings, they all come with buttons!!! Kind of dumb isn’t it …to have buttons on a guitar!

Is there any guarantee for the hacked console..
I am not much into gaming, do you suggest 70KD is a good bargain? what kind of games are bundled with it? And how much does the wii fit cost in Rihab?

These guys promise a 3 month guarantee which is better than the 1 month Electrozan offered me for a higher price. kd 70 is a great deal! Each vendor bundles different games so you need to check with them on that. I got the balance board for KD 30/-. If you bundle purchases, they are likely to give you stuff cheaper.
Mathai, I just got the wii fit 2 days ago and haven’t had much time to use it yet! I like the Segway game the best so far.

Can’t remember the price now, but I guess it was in the range of 50/-. There are a dozen other shops in the same complex that will sell you just the guitar for like 25/- or so.
