on travel technology …and everything else
Ate at Taal recently with friends. Was planning to go there for a while now but it never happened. The place is richly decorated. Very posh Indian setup. Colorful bangles around the grills and beautiful custom-made chandeliers imported from Jaipur.
The food was amazing too. The flavours were excellent and although we ordered spicy food, my stomach survived.
The olive naans and the aloo (potato) stuffed naans were light and fluffy. The dal was served in little bowls which was unique. The chicken kebab was served from a sword styled skewer. Very nice touch. And the mutton chops were superb but could have been a little more tender.
We finished off with my favourite… Rasmalai
Its a very nice restaurant to eat at and located at the Movenpick hotel near Salmiya.
