on travel technology …and everything else
Last week Miss L and Mr G at the office were cribbing about how loud and fast I type. Loud caz my beautiful “natural” keyboard insists that it should be so. Fast, caz I’m super Mario.
We all use the keyboard and mouse so much but never really keep track of its usage. I decided to dig for some statistics and came across this little app which does just that. It’s called the WinOMeter. It tracks the number of keystrokes, mouse clients and mouse movements on a daily basis. Very cool. I hit 10,000+ keystrokes & 0.5 km worth of mouse movements …on a Friday, my day off. And i hardly used the machine that day!
I’m gonna leave this running for a while. The results after a week should be interesting.
The software is free for all so go ahead and download from tjelinek.com.
