I know the title sounds a bit vulgar but its really funny!

Was at McDonals (Shuwaikh Sultan Centre) for ice-cream Friday night and caught this on the way out. This cat must have been freezing. Right in front of the drive through window, this cat was warming up its backside on the halogen lights. And it was smoking!!! Yes its ass was burning and there was smoke. No fire, just smoke!

You can’t see the smoke in the pic but we couldn’t stop laughing for some time!

Is it real fun to drive around in a bulldozer on the highways? I’ve never seen a bulldozer driving around on the main roads in India. They are usually transported around on trailers. I guess since fuel is so cheap in Kuwait, its not a problem.

Forecasts show very heavy rain possible for next week in Kuwait with a 30% chance of local flooding. Starting Saturday night, clouds will increase with rain eventually arriving sometime Sunday with the worst of the rainfall occurring Monday and Tuesday.

Up to a total of 70mm to 90mm is possible during these three days with the possibility of some strong thundery outbreaks.

The predictions show some very heavy rain set up for Kuwait next week. If the predictions stay as is now, then local floods are very possible. Please take all necessary pre-cautions for the heavy rain forecast. Also, driving will be hazerdous during the rain therefore please take caution while driving. Young kids are suggested to stay home from school especially that the rain could be heavy anytime and driving will be diffucult and in some areas it will be dangerous in the result of local flooding.

Temperatures will decline to leave the weather cold.

Seems Apple has hired IBM’s top chip designer Mark Papermaster [Link]. He’s supposed to help out design new chips for the Iphone and possibly Apples servers. IBM has got a little nervous about this and sued Mark for deciding to join Apple.

This is pretty inspiring for anyone who wants to start a blog. Those who have one should watch it anyway. [Link]

I have this strange habit of stacking empty water bottles. I’ve managed to balance and stack up 4 bottles max to date. The round Aquagulf bottles are better than those square Rawdatain ones. The image to the right shows two bottles balanced on my wife’s knee. The stuff she has to put up with!

I was amazed to find out today that the office for Danone Waters in Japan has walls made up of stacked water bottles. It was designed by Klein Dytham. Now I need an excuse to put up a partition of empty water bottles somewhere in the flat. Its gonna be tough getting permission from the management (wife).

Came across this on the net. Its a bit long but you must watch it all the way till the end. Very funny!

Now I know why my wife doesn’t like cats. Some more below.

Alshamel Travel in Kuwait got all their cars branded this week. Its strange caz just last week when I met with the Alshamel chaps in Dubai, I pointed out how nice it was that their cars were branded and strange the ones in Kuwait weren’t. Spoke too soon I guess.

I like the branding on the Kuwait cars better. However, someone left the caps lock on while printing the “WWW” on the bumper.

Of all the buildings I’ve seen, this was the best lit for Diwali in Kuwait. Its in Salmiya block 10 opposite the football ground. I think its called the Titanic complex? Was expecting Durar complex in Reggae to be lit up real nice but it didn’t beat this one. And the fireworks display at the football ground was just insane. Not to mention the traffic too. The whole of Salmiya seemed to be there. Hope ya’ll managed to catch a glimpse of the action.
