Seems Santa wanted to delivery presents on board aircrafts this year. Ended up crashing into one. Looks like he’s going to need a new sleigh!

Well, it all started while we popped into City Center Salmiya for some quick shopping. We came across this “Kissing Booth” setup just for Christmas. Outside the booth, I noticed this Christmas tree decorated in little Hershey’s Kisses ornaments.

And then I thought, how great it would be to have a mistletoe made of these little kisses chocolates. So I “googled” a bit and found a new word …Kissletoe! It’s what you call a mistletoe made out of Hershey’s Kisses.

The crafts section on the Heyshey’s website actually tells you how to build one. I took the liberty of copying the same here…

Supplies:

• 2 3-inch Styrofoam balls
• Wired ribbon
• HERSHEY’S KISSES Chocolates

Instructions:

1. Using a pen or pencil, push through each ball to make a hole through the center of the ball (from end to end).
2. Feed the ribbon through the first ball and knot at the bottom.
3. Leave a couple of inches of ribbon above first ball and tie another knot, then feed the ribbon through the second ball setting it on second knot, leave several inches of ribbon again, and then tie a bow in the top.
4. Using hot glue, glue KISSES on each ball. When dry, you can hang your Kissletoe at the bow end.

And at the end of that you should end up with something like this…

This is truly the best decorated place in the whole of Goa. Every year a new decoration during Christmas time. This year we had the Von Trapp Family (Sound of Music) by the Crib on the first floor and Snow White with the 7 dwarfs all dressed as Santas on the ground floor. If you are in Goa, swing by their place in Porvorim.

This huge tree at the Radisson SAS must have a ton of decoration on it. Almost every branch has 4-5 large ornaments. And look at all those goodies at the bottom. Or are they empty boxes?

This is a very creative crib at the Cathedral in Kuwait City. It includes the Kuwait Towers, the Liberation Tower, some of the distinct buildings around the city and looks like the First Ring Road project extends all the way there too.

Saw this Christmas-season display while shopping with Ro at in Salmiya. Just had to take a photo.

With economic recession hitting most of the world hard, a lot of staff are still wondering if there will be a big bonus this year for Christmas. Hope our company gets even more generous this year!!!

Google has announced their first Gingerbread House Design Competition. Reminds me of the gingerbread house I photographed recently at the Courtyard Marriott in Sharq.
